Albert does a good job of R&D and manufacturing since his shop builds parts for aircraft engines and most of them are prototype applications. Im really interested in having him make me a set of poly mounts once he has created the set for the rears. Keep up the good work! Would be nice to get...
I have to agree why would you weld steel plate on, aluminum does not corrode and it can be pressed back out if you decide you want to go with poly or replacement stock bushings.
Sounds like you got it all handled! Just making sure you didnt forget anything, wouldnt want you to forget something stupid and ruin the build. Are you going to run your harness the way I ran mine?
Make sure you ground out the other heater wires that remain because Albert and I believe that it is needed to tell the ECU that the 02 is plugged in (correct if wrong)...Also dont forget to program the unit so that it gives the narrow band signal on the AUX 1 output.
I would just polish them or chrome them because the Powder coating holds in alot of heat to be honest
And yesss BJ91T we could be Brothers...cant wait to see that 1.5 swap your thinking of doing!

It wasnt hard at all I just found an old oven on craigslist and used that to bake the parts. I used powder form eastwood.com and make sure you sand blast the parts first.
Ya ive spent more than enough of the project for now and im gonna start saving up for fuel and engine management. Im looking into going pro efi for the ems and will do full fuel set up as well. Gonna be a long time though. Im the mean time it will stay they way it is, not doing the piggy back...
Saw this beauty at the show and shine and I have to say that its has one of the best paint jobs I have seen for the color black!! Very well done and pictures dont do the car justice until you actually see the car in person. Cangrats on the award!
Thats my secret :icon_bigg If you cut a 2.5 inch hole in the firewall behind the intake manifold you can run the harness through the dash behind the cluster and into the glove box with out any extending. This works for both 1j and 2j swaps as multiple of my friends have done it. Makes it look...
