Well I installed some 550's and a lc-1. I also did a custom gauge install for the lc1, some people might not like it but I do. I didnt want to add another gauge in the car and my water temp was not working. I also have a water temp gauge by my boost controller so I didnt need the stock one. here...
Yes I had a lean condition at idle of 17/18's when i didnt have an 02 senor on my 440s and that sucked but with the 550's and the 02 sensor emulated it runs 12's when cold and 14s when warm.
Yes i think your 02 is bad if it is not correcting your air fuel mixtures. Emulating means that the unit can give out a normal narrow band output with the wideband sensor. Basically copying a 02 sensor signal based on what it is reading, while acting as a wideband with the other out put...
Do you have a stock 02 sensor? I just copied your style of resistors and 550s and installed a innovate wide band to watch my A/F and emulated the 02 signal. It drives around in the 14's until I hit boost then it hits the 9's. So maybe get a 02 signal and then tune the top end with your safc. The...
I have a divided .70 hot side T67 with ptrim and i am having no problems. I see 14psi by 3500rpm as well as having no surge with my turbo xs RFL BOV. My set up is on a 2j but they are both 3 liters. I love the turbo cause it has a great power band.
Wow 381hp?!? seems a little high to me for stock setup. I mean its a Aristo set up with the smaller cams and turbos. Did you do a third gear pull of is it the dyno correction?
Well of course. it was the battery box that was tricky.
Unfourtunately no, The sub has a 8''X12''X12'' box that is screwed on and sits in the wheel well as you can imagine, and the amp is under there as well. I know the box is small but it give just enough bass, plus the sub is a walmart...
Yes you are jumping the relay that powers the relay that switches the resister to the fuel pump so you do not get 9V then 12V when you hit boost but instead you get the full 12V. This signal is then used to power my relay in the hatch that actually powers the fuel pump.
Theres a couple people here in AZ running it on JZ motors. It is about a 50/50 shot of working on them for some reason. Some ecu's like it and some dont. Personally for 7m I would look at the MAPECU2. It can advance and retard timing while the FIC only retards the timing. The mapecu2 will also...
For you to use the R154 you will need to get a 1jz bell housing and flywheel which are about $750 from Driftmotion.com. I would only use these if you plan to turbo the motor in the future. On the other hand it is easier to get a hold of a W58 bell housing in a junkyard. I would go this route...
