Alright, so I ordered a set of felpro grommets, and a 14mm hex allen socket. I plan on using the same bolts (philipps type) and using med strength loc tite (blue). I am also replacing the no.3 valley cover with 4 gaskets from napa. Hopefully all goes well here.

same here, im wondering if thats whats causing me to loose oil pressure. it smokes alot, and i can see it coming from the valve covers.

ok i figured, well its coming from there, i checked to see if any of the bolts came loose, but they arent.

i have to ask this question since the thread is already up. im having a coolant leak problem, i found where it coming from but i cant seem to stop it. the steady stream of coolant is coming from the mount where the clutch fan pully is mounted to on the front of the block.

ah darn. thanks though.

Being that this is the general discussion for MKIII talk, I have read in lots of threads that most of the people on this forum that use Redline also get an additive for the fluid that helps get rid of that loud ass noise. I'll link the threads when I find it. EDIT: Found some info from the LSD...
