Before I go out looking for another set of cams, I wanted to ask you guys a few questions.
I will be dropping this motor off at the machine shop and I wanted to know if I should just use these cams or go find better looking ones.

Thanks for everyone's help!
The only reason I know this stuff, is because we have these things called CDC's which is our upgrade training. Our CDC's have everything from the tools, to the formulas, engines and the way they work. It's a lot of stuff to learn.
Anyways, it's not like the torque setting is always what you are going to get. At the shop (engine back shop) we always put it in between the req'd torque setting, i.e. a 1/4" flange bolt on a PW -229 req's 25-36in. lb of torque we put it in the middle (30.5in. lb) because the torque wrench is...
The formula is:
S = handle setting
T = torque applied at end of adapter
La = Length of handle in inches
Ea = Length of extension in inches
S = TxLa/(La+Ea)
If the extension you are using is more than 2in. in length you need to use this formula (i.e. an extended crows foot). A regular 6in...

Haha, i just realized your sig has what looks to be a GE motor, i may be wrong. your LOC is washington so im assuming you work on heavies. I work on PW 220/229s.
If cleaning doesn't work, try switching out your master switch with a good switch. My passenger side wasn't working at all one time, so I figured it would be the motor. Turns out it was the master switch, luckily for me I have a running parts car. (FYI I did clean the contacts off of the old...
