A buddy of mine and I went out started tuning the car somewhat. We got a good WOT tune but cruising was just fine. When we were heading back getting close to his house the car started idling pretty bad and started dieing when i pushed in the clutch coming to a stop. We tuned that out a little...
There is no setting in V5.03 for to change the Vout1/2 to "Use set point". But there is "GM Map 3 bar" and most of the other settings are for MAFs.
I turned off PTT tracking and cruising AFRs got more irratic.
TurboBob on FullThrottleTech told me to start off with a mainscale of -18. So...
Ok I will search up on how to turn off PT tracking. Ok so low, mid, then high. There is a .3-.4AFR difference my UEGO and the MAFT.
How do I set it up for 550s then? Closest dyno is in Sac.
I understand tuning im just not sure what tables to start tuning with. Yup Im running my old...
1. Idle is just right sometimes and then suddenly it gets very rich and sometimes dies. On start up AFRs are around 10-11 and slowly climb to 14.7-15.0.
2. Cruise is very rich, 10-11AFR. Really sucks for drivability.
3. Currently I have the AFR tracking set to 11.5AFR, All the rest of the...
The reason they may say is that is because your car has an AFM. If you vent to atmosphere it will stall the car because all of a sudden a bunch of metered air is discharged from the system and doesnt end up in the motor like the computer thinks.
You can take the stock bov off but you will have...

Tuning in general is pretty wide open and generalized no matter what car you have. Although when you throw in different systems with different software is when things get complicated. Forsay your buddy knows how to tune AEM, you ask him to look at your Greddy unit. Most likely it would be...
Pulling the motor is going to be the easiest way to fix it. New bell housing? Its a stud with nuts on both sides, there are no threads in the bell housing.
I have an AEM UEGO and I love it. A few months ago I read a big review where they tested ~10 different wideband systems. 1st and 2nd place were given to Innovative and AEM.
I bought myself just the MAFTPRO and speed density kit which was $512 from Drjonez with free shipping and unrated support.

No you still need the wideband. The MAFTPRO wiring includes wiring it into the wideband output so you can log the AFRs on a PC and tune accordingly.
You can also keep your boost controller, MAFTPRO does have an optional boost controller unit that has lots of settings to play with on Tuner Pro...
