    Ready to call it quits...

Well Matt, the advice that you gave me was great. Yes, maybe not 10000% accurate but it's ballpark range and maybe not all aspects...but HE DOES know his shit when it comes to Supras(MKII and III). Lagged, I think you took that a little too far. He specifically said that he wasn't trying to DOG...

    Stock Turbo 1/8th mile speeds

Hell, without a High stall torque converter, As long as you've got some good tires, you can build up 3-4 psi before you start spinning...Try building a tad bit of boost off the line...still nothing like a HSTC:)

    Ready to call it quits...

Well I hate to sound like I did(in the last post) but I don't really care to hear any criticism right now. Thanks for the info you have provided for me. I don't have rod knock...I've got some other things that I'm having to take care of, but good to know that RK isn't the case.

    Ready to call it quits...

Well realize this is when I FIRST let it all out. "but I DO NOT wan't to give up on this car. I've invested/experienced/lived way to much in this car to get rid of it. Are there ANY options off hand that I can do to either check if I have rodknock FOR SURE without tearing it apart..."...

    Ready to call it quits...

Well, sort of confused on this whole argument aside from the oil analysis thing, but if anyone is referring to ME to get rid of the MK3 and get a more "reliable" car, then you don't know me too well(obviously). I know PLENTY of people that get frusterated with their cars, it's a common thing...

    Hyundai Tiburon

Not that it's a bad thing at all..but what is it with Supra owners and Subie's? :aigo: Seems to be several on here with this killer combination of a Race car and a Daily Driver!:naughty: BTW, I think your Subie is VERY pretty.:icon_bigg

    Hyundai Tiburon

Ehh, I don't know about "brand new" but you should honestly have no major problems(aside from filter changing, oil change, etc.). The only big problem I know of Maxima's is the transmission and thats the generation before the one you are thinking about buying. I won't put my life on it, but as...

    Hyundai Tiburon

I've got a good friend with a 94 Maxima, before that, it was a 96, his mom currently drives an 03. They are ALL great cars. For a daily driver, it would be a WONDERFUL car. Go for the Maxima. As for the Hyundai's...I better not be hearing anybody dissing on Korean-made vehicles.:mad...

    Curious

GRRR...I LOVE how car companies come up with these wild concept looking cars. I LOVE the future and what its doing with cars...but when it comes to badging a V8 Sports car as a Supra...that's just not on my level. It's been discussed a million times so I wont rant, lol...and as for the new...

    Me vs. 98 'Stang GT

Well, before I start, It's a possibility that I have light rod knock, but then again it seems to be the crank..anyways, I will say that it is possible to STILL have fun while driving safely and gentle:). Anyways, I'm out driving around town with the usual crowd of ricers, trucks, 'maro's and...
