You can run Xylene at 30% mix to petrol. (Gas.)
I run Toulene in a mix of about 2 gal for every ten. (20% mix.) with no problems, and no detonation either.
It does keep your fuel system nice and clean too, no build up or varnish ever. (Toulene is the major ingredient in fuel injector...
The GM I6 can and is being used in race trucks. It's also capable of about 5L of displacement.... :)
Imagine a nice 5.0 I6 in the supra with twin GT35's on there.... You'd need AWD just to lay down the power for sure.
GM should offer this motor in the GTO with a nice midsize single turbo...
From what I can see, HPF is doing a great job, and are willing to make right what goes wrong.
Try dealing with Flatlander and expect any service? LOL Good luck. That asshole overcharged me 1200+ for the order, and then refused to even pull his reccords untill I disputed it with my CC company...
On my B&G springs, the alignment is barely in specs on the front, and I had them take out as much negative camber as possible in the rear, but even with the cam adjusters all the way over, there is still some negative camber there. (Good for handleing, but bad for wear and putting the power...
To really get a blind test on AC, they should have used two cars, and had AC on both of them.
Run one with the AC turned off.
One being run with it on.
Then switch cars, so any engine or transmission differences in wear or condition do not have an effect on the results. (If they did not put...
I did not see any cracks in the 4 blocks I've been around lately. (Only the cracked off piece that I over tightened, and that was machined out for 1/2" NPT taper thread, and was eventually milled off, and re-threaded for 20mm straight like the oil return fitting to the main galley.
No cracks...
Dang nice. (And I thought I had alot of braided stainless and AN fittings.)
That upper hose/fitting is over the top crazy however. (Hope your going to Vegas, I'm looking forward to seeing your car again in person.) I'm also planning on going to the Portland meet, so perhaps I can see it then.
Out of the 4 engine's in my car, so far, no cracks. (Knock on wood, and never on a rod.. LOL)
I'd go with some sealant, and leave it alone. (Using head studs of course.)
Later.
I'm looking at going with a GT4088r one of these days, but the GT35 series at 700hp is a very capable turbo for sure. (I think the RWHP level will put it solidly into the 550 to low 600's, and the GT40's are going to be about 100 to 150rwhp higher.)
Spool wise, I don't know. The guys running...
I think with the cost of good AF wideband meters around 300.00 these days, the EGT temp meter is less important than ever for tuning.
That being said, mine has always been after the turbo, in the elbow, and has worked fine to keep an eye on the EGT of the engine.
Your graphs are very...
