As some of you know i was in a accident in my 87 Turbo on Nov 4th and i am in the process of swapping the motor and transmission into my 89 Turbo
So as of now i have both motors and transmissions out.
(Alitte info)87 is R154 the 89 was a Auto
My questions are
1. Motor Mounts i use...
Hmmm The driveshaft isn't locked (meaning you can turn it by hand) when the car is not in gear. Seems like to me its your D.S But thats just puttin 2 and 2 together ill shut up now lol.
Im not quoting to up my post count NO!!! i wouldn't do that.
Atleast i can edit hahaha....OOOOOOO....I never been apart of the Wall of shame this feels.............Somewhat SAD but in a funny way
Same thing that came to my mind....
Now im not 100% sure but i have been told to mark the driveshaft and out it in the same way it came out. Not sure why or for what reason's or what it would cause
but a friend of mine put in a R-154 on his 7mge and has the same problems. And he did not...
So any Last minute info anyone could share about anything thats has to do with pulling a motor and transmission from a 87 and putting it in a 89 also auto to 5-speed i will be starting this in the AM so anything helps please feel free to leave any info or advice..
