hmm then i would think it would be the TPS if your sure did you check engine codes? cause if 34 does not pop up your not hitting fuel cut

first check your engine codes. then report back your codes

this makes it sound to me that the ecu is not seeing the afm signal. if i unplug my afm same thing will happen to me when i drive. so maybe there is a problem with you MAF setup. from my experience fuel cut won't make the car decell it just jerks really hard

He's running a maft pro but sounds like its not setup wrong.. sounds like your car is still wanting that AFM. Make sure you got the right TPS sensor also there are alot of different one's for our cars and Autozone/Checkers likes to give people the wrong one's. and since yours is a 89 there are...
