It depends on the condition of the current paint. You wanna sand it down completely flat. Most likely you'll wanna start off wet sand with some 400 then move on to 600, then 800, but bondo is another story. If you bumper has a lot of knicks and bumps that need bondo, take it to a professional...
its the biggest pain in the ass ever. You gotta take EVERYTHING out in that aera pretty much. The wiring harness goes through the intake and you gotta get all the wiring from that section off and it has to go through the small hole in the manifold.
