On a serious note, I wired up the fuel pump and I'm pretty sure that my wiring will be fine. Does anyone think I should protect these wires better? They'll be up and covered by the tank. Any ideas or does it look safe? It's all protected by the rear subframe too.

I had the same mods and the same thing happening. There is a good chance its being caused by a boost leak though. While I was tearing my car apart I noticed the intercooler had a dent in the top and was filled with RTV. I have a feeling that I had a leak there. Check for leaks, if there are...
Or the gears are in peices. Mine were in peices and the nylon cord was broken. I disconnected the motor and lowered the antenna all the way. Still get reception...
