It'd be easier to swap a non-vvti 2JZ-GE in. SC300's and NA Supras with the 2JZ-GE's were available with a W58, so you'd have to get a bell housing off one of those. As for the rest, I don't know.

The VVTi IS300 2JZ-GE actually has about 215 hp, the 7MGE has 200.. unless you're planning on building up the internals, and turboing it afterward, it's not worth it at all...

99% chance your taillight failure sensor is out... it's below the driver's side taillight, should be a yellow or white box, open it up and check the solders...

get the ones with the single LED at the tip and 4 radials at the side.. the difference just seems to be the number of LED's in a single bulb.

The MR2 Spyder/MR-S was never sold in Canada, I think it was something incredible stupid, like the door lines were too low or something.. It was sold as the Toyota MR Coupe in France, because MR2 sounds sorta like "shit" in French. The MR2 Spyder was the N.A. name and MR-S was the Japanese...

I always get this, back when I was N/A, people would ask "is it turbo?" I'd tell them "no, but eventually, years down the road it'll be twin turbo" "Oh, okay" and now that I am turbo, they ask "Is it turbo?" "yeah" "1jz?" "no" "oh..." people are never satisfied...
