Mine only smells of fuel if I have been beating on it for over 5 min. This smell is faint and only last for a few miles afterwards. The interior has no discernable smell. I made a point to steam clean every square inch when I got the car, I guess that paid off.

Ford F150 King Ranch Supercrew...the most pimp truck ever. You can't beat saddle leather seats.
I also just gave them an 84 Supra which I will be restoring for them. The body is screwed...
I have mine in the same spot. Once you get used to the gauge being there you can watch it with your periferal vision. You don't need to see the number it's at if the needle always goes to the same place on the gauge. I just keep tabs on mine to make sure it's not way low/high.
EDIT: I...
C'mon guys...I am getting the tires ordered tomorrow or put on if they are in stock. Need these pics asap. I'm now searching through wheel posts. please make my life easier.
These tires aren't for the N/A wheels, they are for my new rims which are 17's. I just checked and my wheels would stick out 4mm further than a 8.5 +35. For those of you running a 245, front rims that are 8.5 +35mm and on a very lowered car, please let me know how much clearance you have with...
I wanted 245's but I am worried that my 25 offset would make them rub the fender. I have deceided to go with 225's. They should have enough grip. Also, I'm only putting 255's on the back so I want the tires to look balanced (equal bulge front to rear). I would have bought 235's but they...
Hey guys I need to know what tire would fit an 8" rim with no bulge. I have 225's on my Mk4 N/A wheels and there is a slight bulge but my friend has 245's on some wheels and they fit with very little bulge. I am looking at either a 245/40/17 or a 225/45/17. Please let me know...ordering the...
Here is a pic of my black w/ white. Someone could photoshop it red to give you an idea. I would imagine your interior looks very similar to mine so I hope this helps. Oh...and my vote is for the white lettering.
Blackfin: I think you are missing the point. The car doesn't get lowered, the sidewall height changes. It has the same overall size (rolling diameter).
Screaminglemon: How did you work it out? Did you have access to 2 sets of of wheels and 2 sets of tires of the same models?
I'm also...
I like the look alot. How long have you had the parts in the engine bay? I have heard from a few people who have had their parts coated that they turned a dull grey over time. I beleive the ones that turned grey used Fireball coatings but I would have to double check. I was just wondering...
When you upsize the tire from 17 to 18, you lose 2 strips or rubber 1/4" thick with an outside diameter or roughly 18 and inside of roughly 17 as well as the weight of the compressed air that used to fill this void.
The rim, however, gains mass by lengthening each spoke as well as...
The car doesn't have to be if the sidewalls have different aspect ratio's. Therefore the car should have the same weight distribution as before, the only change being the wheel weights.
Also, nobody answered which would be heavier, the 17 or 18. I think the 18 should be heavier given equal...
