Ok, so when you bypass the vsv do you just leave the two vaccum inlets on the hcv with nothing on it? and can you still raise and lower the heat like normal when you do this?
Ok, after the car is warmed up, and I am just driving along when i stop the idle will dip really low and then go back to normal. This only happens at random time and only happens once or twice a day. Does anyone have any ideas?
There should be 3 wires around the steering wheel, 2 wires for the cruise control, one for the horn, although I dont recall the color the horn will go of if it is touched to anything that can pose a ground on the car. The easiest way to mess with the horn is disconnect your battery
I did it with my N/A but didn't run it through the old intake hole, I do still plan on doing this but most likely have to make the hole wider in order to avoid hitting the headlight good luck though

That is prob. your problem, mine did the same thing a while ago, It would stay close to zero then go up a bit then drop to zero and stay there. It turned out the wire was loose on the sending unit. The unit is close to the oil filter, I would check that first
