YES. & NO. When I had a nut loose and almost off all the way before, it did cause a WICKED and unbareable loud hiss as I built up more boost... I wouldn't call it a whine but it just sounded like a Ford Diesel truck spool...It was insanely loud. Buy a nut, if it doesn't help, you probably...
