No, it isn't business smart to sell something people won't buy, but from the looks of this thread it seems that people DO want to buy one...
150 isn't expensive either. People buy lips for more than that, and this undercover is functional. There ARE people who prefer to spend it on aesthetics...
Thanks poodles :)
I'm still open to suggestions/advice. I went out and did the speedo cable instead. It was a lot easier than I thought it would be actually. Only an hour's work. I would have tackled the e-brake but I started late and ran out of daylight.
Anyways, it worked out ok. My plan...
Either way, that's a part of their job. All of the tint places I know only charge extra for special kinds of tints or if you're getting a large vehicle like a full-size SUV done.
That sucks, the undercover is something I'd be glad to have. I was hoping someone would have made a replica by now, but I'm not entirely bothered by it because I too plan to make one :)
RhinoLiner ftw ;)
I'm going outside now to change my e-brake cable (front part, the single cable section). I haven't done this job yet so I don't know what I'll run into, but I'm confident I can do it.
I've done some searching and I found a few pics, very few, and a little talk about it.
As I'm about to...
I like them. At first I didn't but the longer I looked at them the more they grew on me. the car does need to be lowered like you said though. When you look at the car as a whole it seems to look better than if you just look at the rims alone :icon_razz
They're okay. But I say sell them and get some wider (and nicer) ones. I don' think the dark color looks good. Maybe it's just the pictures or maybe it's because if how matte they look.
In the exhaust design thread he has running, there is a link that has n/a engines rated as high as 5HP/CC, at 18,000RPM. Not all n/a engines are lame.
Most boosted engines are based off of n/a engines like the 7M too.
As for our N/A engine I'm sure we could achieve more than 400 at the...
Just make sure you don't waste the effort and struggle. Put a stainless back in there, 10mm would be best imo opinion, nice common size to work with. Or you could put a hex with a flat/star head.
I recently purchased another supra and I've been working on it, cleaning it up, getting ready to do maintenance before I run it, doing an inspection of things.
It has a problem with running, when I start it up it sometimes kinda of chokes and dies, unless you give it gas (out of gear). When...
Ultimate sleeper would be a stock appearance, or possibly even a lowered one. This is the look I was talking about being played out btw. Just add some tinted tails and the blinker covers. Sorry, but few people make that look pass, which is why I suggested bronze to begin with.
The black on...
Actually, with a black car it can go either way. Black with polished lip is more common and people tend not to even look twice at a car with them....but, I think you should try and accurately photoshop them on (to scale, or as close as possible). I say this because the factor of how low the car...
Bronze.
I think oldschool look can be pulled off, u know, on our oldschool 80's cars.
Besides, black with a chrome lip has become SOOO played out.
I also think bronze looks amazing on burgundy and blue vehicles ;)
The only thing I would add to this is that for some nice free breathing I would suggest the Apex'i filter.
Other than that, I was just wondering why you felt that you SHOULD mention that your previous car was a 5.0 stang? Maybe you have a reason that I missed, I tend to miss the simplest...
