I know i know.....i thought the winky face was enough to imply it was a joke. :) Not to mention i'm SURE it costs more to care for the child than any tax return you might receive.

TAX Deadline! Big refund or big pay

Paid in about 18k to the feds and got back $800... Gotta love it :) Thats ok though, by next year, i should actually own a house and have an LLC to help out with the refund....

How do you tune the Brian crower cams for the Mk3?

I agree. "Degreed" as in using a degree wheel on the crank, and a dial indicator on the bucket to measure valve lift. Not just "degreed" as in lining them up at TDC...

How do you tune the Brian crower cams for the Mk3?

Just degree them as per the "cam card" that comes with them. Then on a dyno you may want to make small adjustments to the cam timing (via adjustable cam gears) to make "different" power (i.e peak vs. avg.) This of course will be dependant upon a lot of other variables...turbo, head flow...

    Looking for help with tires

Just going off memory, but i think they were 2.25 bs. You'll need a 3/8" spacer to clear the caliper though. That's just due to the design of the Draglite though, not necessarily the backspacing...

    Looking for help with tires

I agree w/ Brian(chevyeater). Get some 26x10.5x16 ET streets for the sawblades, and find some used 15x4 Draglites (all over the place!) and then get a new set of M/T ET fronts (less than $100 each IIRC). Fairly economical, and it will WORK! :)

    Looking for help with tires

What are you running currently? Do you want a set of wheels/tires that are on all the time, or do you want a dedicated setup for drag usage? Just want to make sure i have everything clear before i offer a suggestion :)

Took the Supra to PIR tonight.

It's your 60' times. They kinda stink ;) Get the 60s to the 1.9-2.0 range, make a clean pass, and theres your 1/2 second.

    new time

Got your pm, and just FYI, you can still reply in the Drag Times thread, just by clicking the checkbox under the "Quick reply" that says..."I am aware that this Thread is rather old but I still want to make a reply." That will allow you to post :) Good luck on getting to the 12s.
