Well first off, I was so pleased with it that I DO plan on doing the rest once I get around to it.
The 2nd picture I posted in my first thread that has all the necessities...All that there was about 45 bucks. The kit comes with a Metal-wire Roller, Paint Brush, Mini-Prep Wipe pad, and 2...
Yeah. Although removing your "rear" interior doesn't free up a WHOLE lot of weight, I did it for a couple reasons. 1: IMO, Our cars are heavy pigs so I might as well get rid of stuff I don't use or even look at. 2: Perfect excuse when more than 1 person tries to get a ride from you..."Sorry...
Pulled a 'Vette 8 lengths.
Now how about you introduce us to the Corvette that comes stock with 245hp to the crank. SLOOOOOOW. J/K. Depends on what kind of Vette. I pulled on a Vette with my Stock Turbo on 9psi...:D Of course, that is when I first got my car........;) Things have changed...
^^What he said.
Not to mention I only used about 2/3rds of the can.
born2drv: If you've got a rust-infested rear, I would definately recommend doing it. However, My case wasn't bad enough to need repair. Just a good scruff, sand and spray job did it for me. What I also love about this...
No, Immediately after the first coat, I loosened the screws and lifted the plate to make sure it didn't dry. After the last coat, I took it off again, it comes off just fine.
And for the record, As much interior as I have stripped out, I don't think I'm GAINING weight to stock standards...
.....Where does it say 3" thick?
lol...I said,
----3 THICK AND HEFTY COATS----
:D
And the entire can of Rhinoliner weighed less than 8lbs. I only used 2/3rds of it. Sorry. 50lbs is out of the ballpark, lol.
Well, I've had the kit and all the necessities to do this for about a year now and never got around to it...and since I had decided to gut out my car...and having the minor leaks that I do, I was starting to get some surface rust that was starting to dig deeper and deeper, so I started.
First...
Born in South Africa? Very interesting.
You are the whitest looking African I've ever seen. :eek3:
Just kidding. I know you're all British! :D
I was born in Korea...But I'm a 100% pure American Citizen (meaning, I don't have Greencards, didn't have to take tests, etc etc.:-p.)...Lets...
Unless you already have a decent muffler and a welder, I don't see anyone spending less than $50 to get an exhaust. That's outrageous. I thought spending acouple hundred $$$ in total was a cheap way to go...
Anyways, Don't know if you consider this cheap or not, but with an NA, go buy one of...
HAHA. I feel like an idiot! I totally forgot about that! I posted in his Thread hatin' closed thread's last night and he was just being out right stupid. I quoted Matt on what he said to call him and I STILL wasn't paying attention to the name (of the guy that got banned last night) LOL...
