I took out the damn seat belts about........... 2 years ago, which was when I started working on the interiors. Now this week, when I'm finally putting everything back in, I noticed that the driver's side belt won't retract so well. In fact, last night I had to pull it back manually...

At least he was just a client..... that would have been hilarious if one of the mechanics at the shop said something like that :icon_surp

Any really cheap covers out there? I'm getting my car painted in January or so. For now, it's just sitting in the building's parking lot out in the sun. It's already scratched and I don't care, since it'll get painted and it will rest indoors later on. But for now, the damn tropical sun is...

I have also heard that (in 7M-GTE's) you could replace the stock oil filter adapter with the 7M-GE one to eliminate the problem of restriction. In fact, I've seen it posted all over the forums :icon_bigg

I never even took the belt out, just the sprockets. Hence why I didn't even need to mark it.

Got a couple of questions. Was putting the timing back on this weekend and I kept having the same problem each day. I couldn't get the timing marks from the sprockets to the back plate PERFECTLY alined. Still, I managed to get the teeth with the marks at least half touching the line that goes...

I'm quite sure that they are correctly timed, since I followed the timing marks and everything, but just to make sure........ The lobes at the #1 piston location, are they pointing where they are supposed to be pointing at?

Until the alternator stops whistling..... or the revs stabalize at 900rpms.... either way, takes about 1-2 minutes. Only exceptions are if the car hasn't been used and it's a cold night, it takes a bit longer to warm up.

I haven't moved yet, so I haven't bought the new pc yet. Need it until then.
