I was thinking of buying one around 1995-2000 ish. I found 2 good ones that are 1999 models. If these cars suck, what would you reccomend? eric

Is a jetta a good car to daily drive, winter and all? I heard from a friend vw's break a lot, but I know some people who drive them and like them. I just want some quick answers guys! Thinking of maybe buying a car asap. eric

I found out that I'm gona have to cut the long side open like a tin can to make it a bit deeper. Right now, the board sits way higher than all of the other ones, which won't look good at all. It's not a big deal, but it does frustate me, since I'll have to re-fiberglass around to make it solid...

I use sharp razor blade. Sometimes it actually cut into the aluminum the blade was so sharp! eric

Heh, worked for me too. Some $2.0 sand paper, $4.00 paint and it was good to go! ALthough, this carbon piece really is the shit guys. Cryo, get me the inside discount ;) Maybe $100? hehee. eric

Just want to let you guys know, I have become interrested in the cluster again, and I've done more work on it. The fiberglass is setting now, so once I get my camera back this weekend I will take some pics for you guys and get this thread back and operational! I will finish this cluster...

Just curious as to why you wish to do this. Heater core not work and you're not looking to change it? Remember you'll have a hard time deffoging windows and what not in the rain etc... eric
