removing gaskets?

whats the easiest way to get gaskets off, just go at it with a scraper?

what kind of gaskets? I usally just grab a screwdriver of sorts to do it ( i never have my scraper handy..)

yep... screwdriver, razor blade, brake cleaner...just depends on what type of gasket

gaskets on the upper intake mani: cold start injector, egr, y-pipe, and that other one i cant think of the name

I use sharp razor blade. Sometimes it actually cut into the aluminum the blade was so sharp!

Got em mostly prep'ed...need to cook them in the oven to make sure all the oil is out of the metal and bead blast again. Gotta go out today though bouncing around the country till Friday evening. Hope to get them done early next week...depends on what the AF Reserves has planned for me before Thanksgiving. Might delay me a bit Chris with the holiday coming up. Don't want to rush...want them done right for ya
