    Well I'd do a long 4th gear pull too redline and see if it fuel cuts myself....or do a boost leak test. You should smell and see unburnt fuel in your rear view if you have a boost leak as it will run stupidly rich! But seriously check codes.

    The way you see the arrangement is the way they go together....the part of the disk that you don't see is the side that goes against the fw...

    The flatter side of the disk faces the flywheel.....springs facing pressure plate!

    Check codes and what's your wideband (if you have one) read? A knock code will retard timing and will cause similar issues. Guess you didn't hit fuel cut.. On my car I hit 8 psi with a boost leak but it didn't pull hardly at all...my n/a could have beat it.

    I don't mean to state it as fact....I mean to question how that is possible...in my head I can't see it happening without tacking the oil system itself...if it does effect pressures then is it in a good way (more flow) or bad way (something chokeing flow)... Although I honestly don't see how...

    Agreed...I just figure the gte pumps well more than enough too compensate for the leak...and considering his pump pressure release would be fully open at those pressures regardless then those holes wouldn't change much as they are no where near as big as the pumps release valve.... Obviously...

    Bearings don't effect pressure....doesn't matter if they are acl, clevite, or Toyota...it's the clearance that changes the pressure...and just cause they are aftermarket doesn't mean they have different tolerances in clearance...again the bearing itself has no relation to oil psi unless the...

    This isn't a trans problem so don't stress... The pedal is the only adjustment yes....if you've done some drag launches lately I'm thinking you broke your disk and it's wedging between the disk and pp.
