A fellow boosted IS300 friend told me their tuner is very knowledgeable in the supra world. I think i could use a new tune and i'd rather not drive to Maryland like i have in the past to have my ride tuned right.
However, I'm very skeptical about tuners around here as 2 local places have done...
everyting is good now. first problem was when they banged out the tunnel for fitting the tranny, the banged out section was not allowing me to push the gas pedal to the floor. i got that fixed.
next i started seeing lots of blue smoke the next day. obvioulsy i was burning oil somewhere...
After 6 weeks, I finally got my turbo IS300 back with new R154, tubular manifold, and more. Initial impressions are pretty good. Its alot different than my stock 5-speed. The HKS GDmax twin plate feels really good. The loud chatter of the 2nd plate is a little annoying when clutch is disengaged...
how long have u been at pruven? are u bill?My boosted IS300 has been there for over almost 3 weeks now for R154 swap and new exhaust manifold. not sure if u have helped john/dan on my ride. maybe ill see u around. im from milford
I heard "the shop" in bridgeport does good work. I think their main tuner is a guy named jr. who supposedly know his stuff. whatever u do, don't go to swift motor sports in norwich!! they installed my turbo kit and attempted to tune my IS300.
It was a nightmare and my car ran like complete...
What up everyone!! My name is Mike and i have a 2002 Lexus IS300 Turbo. im looking to get to know some surpa fans as im in the process of putting an R154 in my ride. Heres some pics:
