I looked at that manual and the max boost for a ct26 is 12.5 safely. What I can explain in words is to get a manual boost controler. But those are expencive a few of my buddies have homemade ones and they work the same some times better. I will talk to them see what they used and try...

Nice find and I agree with Jeff 100%. 600 or more accomplishment But to add to what he said about the motor. Do the same with the drive train and the best thing to do there is send the trans and rear end to a shop. and good luck on the build. Where abouts in colorado do you live?

My Bad. No i didn't replace the valve cover gaskets. And no its not throwing any trouble codes. I'm in the process of getting the gaskets and doing a tune up. I was just wondering if there was a any other explanation for it immediately die after starting.

My uncle drove my '89 7m-ge and said he had it to 160 with a little left in fifth. But i think Thats a lie the fastest I have gone was 145 almost redline in fifth.
