It is a cometic gasket, and i was running close to stock boost (8-10PSI) But im not sure why you guys are focusing on the head gasket, as it doesnt seem to be the problem.
Thanks :) Just confirming my diagnoses. Any other imput is appreciated. This block is not salvadgeable. The crank has already been repaired, and id like to go with a different one. (Shaeff did an awesome job though +++ to him)
Extremley low compression across the board. Ran extremely sluggish, smoked heavily every once in a while (oil). Spark plugs drenched in oil. After checking compression, poured a small amount of oil in sparkplugs and re-checked. Comprssion came up +50-60 PSI, but still low. Headgasket is A-OK...
Chances are is that blowing two headgaskets in a row isnt due to you not have a lower engine cover.
How did you install them? Machined block and head? Stock headgasket?
