if you have an 89+ you can use the 2JZ motor mounts as long as you shave off the aluminum nipple. I will be using these on my 91...They are made much better than the 7m ones too. You can't use them if you have the square motor mounts.
I am going through the same problem.....I found that if you take the two vacuum hoses and connect them you will get heat but as soon as you plug it back into the valve it goes away.......so yeah as a temporary fix just do what dunckel suggested^^^^^
Thanks guys.....I just went ahead and bought the solid ones from BIC....i know i will need to get used to the noises but it cant be worse than riding around on busted stock ones....Thanks again
Anthony, Matt and Oscar.....I greatly appreciate your help with pulling that motor.....I know I would not have been able to pull it in 4 hrs by myself. Engine bay is now clean, the new rack is going in tommorow, along with the gauges and the maft-pro. I hope to have the tranny off of the motor...
This is my first time on this thread and i have read through every page. This is out of control. I thought I had a big project coming up swapping my new motor in the car and painting the engine bay.......This is nothing that I have ever seen before. I am at a loss for words, seriously. Great...
Great numbers on the dyno! I like your brothers new wheels :naughty:!! I see that he has slammed it too. Looks good. I dont know if it is lower than mine though....good effort none the less:biglaugh:
too much to list....I will post it in here because local guys get DIBS :icon_bigg before it goes on the thread. So whatever it will be you will be one of the first oes to know!
