What year Ranger? Do some research on the ranger forums, but there's a common issues with a certain ranger tranny (forget what year) that tends to leak oil and grenade itself. It begins with grinding then it's all downhill from there. Let me see if I can find it in my bookmarks. My dad had a '95.
