yep that what that i was thinking, i guess ill check the resistance in the wires and decide if i wanna buy another cps or rebuild this on with one of those kits, thanks guys.

hey guys, im planning on doing some wiring work, the wires to the cps are crap, gonna put in new wires and connecters/plugs. but the wires inside the cps arent any better (they have some corrosion and oil), now ive seen ppl do rebuild cps kits on here but they never seem to touch the wires...

what do you have to do to move the stock tb? is it hard? it has a lot connected to it. also, is there any info on here of ppl making the factory manifold into a ffim?

ya its pricey... still debating on what i should still do, the pipe idea is cheap and you dont gotta relocate the tb or alt, and i like that.

ddid anyone notice that the cop turned his back on the supra driver? dumb mistake. not protecting the bad guy just saying.

it wasnt you, someone else and he had all the piping done, and ya i forgot you can just move the stock coilpacks, i already have the 2jz coils installed. somebody on here had a very nice set up, restrictive? i dont think its more restrictive than the factory set up, plus the factory intake...

hey guys i remember seeing a build thread where somebody made a custom pipe the that went from the tb to a fmic. he had to do the 2jzge ignition coil upgrade, alt relocation and battery relocation to do it if i remember correctly, and the piping went to front mount intercooler that had ports on...

hey guys, i just finished tookwiks mod on my 89 turbo, started up the car and it ran good , but the idle doesnt wanna drop after warming up, seems like sometimes the rpms wanna drop but the motor wants to shut off/sputters a little and the rpms go back up to 1.5k, anyone else had this? thanks

I had the same thing, when I took my car to the tranny shop, they said the shifter fork was worn and was causing first gear to pop out, but my shifter bushing were gone too.

yes he did do a good job of making it look bad, gotta admit whoever did it has some skill though

yes you need cut the metal sleeves out of the a-arms, and its a pain in the ass!
