Sorry, but I don't agree. My uncle had a C5 since new(2000) and it never had any problems. It had about 100,000 km on it before it was totalled last fall. It was replaced with an 07 Z06 during the winter. It gets driven constantly and already has 15,000 km. It only goes to the dealer for...
Unless you run spacers, there will be rubbing issues at full lock. This is not dependent on tire size, this is due to the wheel offset. Mine rubbed with 225's up front. On the N/A wheels, I would run 245/45 rear and 225/50 front.
You aren't limited by space, you are limited by what manufacturers make in a 16" size. Good luck finding anything wider than a 255 which is not a competition tire.
I almost bought a Z32TT before the Supra. If I had a bit more money I would have. I would not own a Z31 unless you paid me. I think they are a horrific looking car.
Thanks, lol.
I was just out today and dropped in on George of Raptor Racing. He had a Shine lip there so I held it up to the front of my car to see how it looked. I love the look of this lip but I don't think I could have one with my current suspension setup.
Sorry for the low quality pic.
So I just installed the first part from my winter mods pile. The JDM tail lights. I just have to say, I don't know if I like them or not. I think this has a lot to do with the darker center trim. This confirms that I need to paint the trim or learn to live with it being mismatched.
I took...
Why not buy a proper fitting, well designed product from one of the forum vendors instead of cheaping out and buying shit? We are very lucky to have our vendors producing parts for our rare, antiquated cars and I take every opportunity to support them so they can continue to make parts for us.
I bought rims when faced with this problem. My car works well as it is and the supporting mods for that "turbo kit" was more than I wanted to spend at the time. I am very happy with my rims. lol
My only experience with Bridgestone is with the RE050A Pole Positions which I think are excellent tires. However, I don't think mine are in the same class as the ones you are looking at. I would suggest reading the reviews on tire rack and comparing them to other similar tires.
