If engine was sold as drop in and 30 day start up... Id be doing some serious bitching...take pictures of motor before you do anything to it...$$ how much did it cost you ? I was thinking of getting a jdm from place in ocala..If you payed threw paypal you can file claim..

Use to run a tad bit of tranny fluide down carbs after motors set awhile and then cranked up.. would smoke out the neigborhood... lubed up the valves whole top end of motor :} guess you can do same on a efi

Studs have better clamping /holing power then a bolts.. try this.take a peace of anything solid run a bolt and nut threw it. tighten the head of bolt as tight as you can...with a 6 inch wrench. then flip over and you will be able to tighten nut even more..there is alot more to it then just...

There is no corect answer.. because you can not 100% say the factory gasket is still good.. the problem with factory bolts is they streatch and after time wont hold proper tourque.. breaking the seal by loosing the bolts might do more damage then good.. but if gasket is good and i bet its not...
Well duh lol.. I had a 75 Ta that had a micro switch in the firebird emblem on post right behind drivers window..If you leaned just right on it ... it would unlock door.. otherewise ya wasnt gettin in...then had ign switch hidden..
I remmber takin philips head and poking holes in old oil cans to put push rods in.. then neatly lay lifters in valve covers in order :} aint seen a oil can in 25 years i bet
