Compressor surge is the compressed air slaming against you turbine shaft as it slows down...chopping up the balance...its bad....get a new soon in the mean time do what your doing...I hate hks's bovs

Outta the blue? Not very often. Hks BOV's are known for fluttering aka compresor surge aka the quickest way to trash your turbo
