They're nice cars. I have an '02 Maxima with the same motor. You need to becareful though. Apparently the VQ35's tend to burn oil. My Maxima goes through around 2 qts. every 5k miles. Never beat on and always well maintained. -Mo

Another quick update: I stopped by Shaeff's place today. We stripped the complete interior out of his white car. We also did some work to the flange for my custom downpipe set-up. Since I'm going with an HKS T3 Manifold, the turbo is going to sit slightly titled. I'll have to use an...

Update: The two flanges I ordered from ATP have arrived. As you can see from the pictures, neither one if a perfect fit. However, I think I can make the larger flange work. The holes just need to be bored out and lined out. I'll be returning the smaller flange since there's no way in hell...

With my old motor, I accidently hooked up a vaccum line coming from the head to a coolant line coming off the throttle body. I had no idea where it went. Well, needless to say after idling for about 10 sec and having coolant shot directly into my motor, I was scared shitless. White smoke...
