Thanks man.
We'll see what I decide. I've got a lot more research to do. If I'm going to spend $1k+ on an EMS, I want to make damn sure it is the right purchase.

Emp, I am always lurking ~said in an evil villain voice~ :). What do you think about the AEM? I was leaning towards that option considering most tuning shops have a decent amount of experience with it. Although considering my car is a '91, I'm not sure if that is going to cause any problems with...

Finally got around to finishing up the last heli-coil on th head. What a nerve racking job that was. Overall, everything went very well. Besides a somewhat...
Update - 8/15/2010:
My good 'ol pops and I (AKA Little Hercules since he often has the tendency to tighten bolts a tad too much and brake them, not to mention, he's 5'6 :)) were able to heli-coil 6 out of the 7 exhaust studs. Interestingly, the guy who previously had the motor had already...

Crisp, she did turn over briefly. I wanted to make sure nothing was locked up. The...
Poodles, thanks for the help.
I remember he offered a kit with a stub 7/16" bit. This kit does not have it. I'm sure I can find a shorter one somewhere.
Is there a particular type/style drill bit I need to use, i.e.) metal composition, thread, etc?
Wha'ts going on guys?
I recently purchased the Driftmotion heli-coil exhaust stud kit. Although I have the basic concept down, and I've done similar things in the past, I would like to get your feedback/advice for performing this upgrade. I am going with the 7/16" studs.
Unfortunately...
Phil I am so sorry. This is absolutely disgusting and it really pains me to see someone have to go through it.
I will contact you via email next week to offer some support.

Nope no pics as of now. I actually just picked up the car from storage and I'll be installing the carpet some time next week.
Pictures to follow soon.
