    MkIII Owner Demographics?

Me, well lets just say I have a son older than AmericanJebus (by one year) so I'm old! I account for two of the Washington Supra's...A 91 Turbo (Sunroof) and an 87 N/A Targa, that now belongs to my son, and will soon be a 1JZ. I've also owned two MkII's. One in my 20's, and one in my 30's. So as...

What do you think about these Enkei's?

Agreed. But most of the Enkei's are not too bad when it comes to weight. The 5Zigen's you have, are some of the lighter wide wheels available. Also, the Enkei RPF1's, which are even lighter than your 5Zigens, but they are alot pricier too! I think that unless you are going for extreme high...

What do you think about these Enkei's?

I'm with Grim on this one! Don't put rims that were intended for FWD vehicles, on a Supra!:aigo: Part of the joy of owning the Supra,is,well, bigggg wheelwells!:icon_razz Go back to the Enkei site, and look at the RZ-5's. 18x8.5's for the front(35mm offset) and 18x9.5's for the rear (25mm...

    question

Also there is a shop here locally,(about ten minutes from my house) called 'Extreme Auto Salon'. The owners name is Kelly Williams. They have done a few, and seem to be getting it dialed in pretty well. If Matt wasn't in Portland though, he'd be my first choice. One look at his work, and you'd...

Used to be auto, (.57Trim )14.1 @103mph...stock inj/Lex maf/Aero vfpr...miserable 2.48 60'...and a reaction time of .668...Sure seems like your car has alot more capability than that! Boost Addtn (Bert) runs in the low 13's, or high 12's (can't remember) and he has minimal mod's.:icon_surp SP61...

don't ask me how i pulled it off (06 vette)

Okay Dave, maybe you're right, Vette's aren't really that fast, stock:aigo: :biglaugh: But I watched a video on Streetfire,:icon_surp that would make any Supra owner hesitate, before he went droppin' the hammer on one! They were far from stock, but I would have just been lookin' at their...

Well, well.. look what arrived today.

Dan; Sorry to hear about the loss of your mom. It's good to see you back on the forum though. Your Supra, and your video were one of the first one's I started admiring, and have inspired me to greater heights with my own Supra. Your Konig Villains also put me on a quest to find the same...

    CarSponsorships.com

Look closely at the spoiler on the black car again. It has a stock three-piece on it already, and a JDM Hiro on top of it! Blue widebody is just too sic!:aigo: Those sponsorships are total crap! My son applied for the Sport Compact Pro sponsorship, back when he had a 240SX coupe. He recieved a...

    Average Yearly Maintenance/upkeep costs?

I've got about $4500.00 into my car. Gas is about $100-$140.00 per month, depending how much I drive her, oil is pricey...Amsoil 15-40, every 3000 miles, + filter er, $50.00...Insurance is pretty cheap for me $79.00 per month(full coverage!) Odds and ends, I'd say about $400-$500.00 per year...

don't ask me how i pulled it off (06 vette)

Good kill! I pulled one from 30-70mph, but I was never really sure that he was all the way into it? Maybe he was?! Juast don't try one out on the freeway, unless you are ready to see the speedo needle pass 160mph:aigo: they have really good top end....more stable than our Supra's at the high...

    431.9rwhp 430.3rwtq 57 trim ct-26

Man, those are some awesome #'s! Time to register your car with 7MPOWER.com...I think you have the highest HP 57Trim I've ever heard of(?)!:aigo: It's just like JBL said, "It's all about the tuning",:boink: as he has gone mid-high 400's on a 60-1, with stock injectors! I have a 57 trim also...

    712whp MK3

Don't forget Duane Stephen's! His beast has laid down (unofficially) just under 700whp, with a small wiff of NO2, and 665whp on boost alone. If he really got wild and sprayed the shit outta' his motor, he would go 720-740whp. That is of course, just an estimate!:icon_razz Everyone that know's...

    N/A Civic Intake Mod

No offense meant, but spending alot on an N/A is pointless! You can get 7M-GTE's (JDM motors) for fairly cheap, and with virtually no mods, other than turning the boost up a little, blow the freakin' doors off an N/A! You still have the sound, and torquey feel of the 7M, just with larger balls...

    Wheel question

Do yourself a big favor, and get some 20mm spacers behind those 50mm offset wheels, or they are going to look sucked in worse than my son's face was when he tried his first Sour Patch candy!:aigo: Or better yet. Just buy some 8.5" or 9 inchers for the fronts, and some 9.5" or tens for the rear...
