Personally, I never bother trying to color match... I just make the floor of the hatch black, like the dash / shifter. Makes it a lot easier, and you can use the stretchy fabric that covers better.

It's actually a very common thing to overlook - they aren't pressure hoses, so nobody thinks about them leaking coolant, never mind air.

For the low fluid in the radiator, check the hose from the radiator to the overflow, and the hose to the bottom of the overflow. If those have a leak, it will push coolant out just fine, but suck in air when it cools.

That's why I did it as well. Well, my stock carpet was in pretty sad shape, too, but Toyota doesn't make black carpet, so I went with ebay.

Prices are so out of whack in Canada, I can't comment on that. Tires up here cost a fortune. Actually, so does everything else.

Putting in the molded carpet is a serious pain in the ass. There's a shitload of holes to cut, just right, or you'll end up with something that doesn't fit properly - which may happen anyway, my buddy's Lincoln carpet was 4 inches short on the molded width. I'm wondering if the slightly...

DamnifIremember... lots. You could search in the for sale sections for threads started by Poodles, it'll probably show up pretty quick. There were some examples of the light pattern in the for sale thread as well, but it basically looks exactly the same as the ones jdemara posted.

Seems about right... the drag time / speed is correct for something in the vicinity.
