when I replaced mine....I didn't get the shaft that pushes the fork in right and it basically poped out and allowed to push the plunger out and sprayed fluid out everywhere...take it off again and make sure something like this didn't happen...
Just cause you replaced it doesn't mean the part...
If you talking about the one on the back of the head...not sure it could be changed while the engine was in the car its pretty tight back there...hence the large bill.
If it really needs changed, might as well pull the engine and replace seals and gaskets and HG or whatever.
injectors do make noise but your not going to hear it over your engine unless its super quiet...what you are probably hearing is the famous valve knock...or where the the cams hit the valve to push it down. 7m's are known for this and it isn't a huge deal. My car sounds like a sewing machine...
if its not BHG then it has to be a leak....small pinhole leaks can be very hard to track down. If you Rad has cold spots then it has problems and could be leaking. Start by checking all the hoses if they are overly soft or feel broken down replace them. Replace the RAD, sooner or later it...
