    Another addition to the stable...

You know, I really like that generation of 7, but was never crazy for the stretched wheelbase versions. Can't afford a driver, you see... :p

    Audio Questions

I believe he was referring to how annoying it can be that electronics manufacturers rate things by max wattage (absolute peak performance) versus RMS wattage (what you actually use in normal listening. ;) As for me, best sounding setup I ever had was a single 10" in a shallow box, aimed at the...

    Tylers Conlins's Drag Supra

You guys actually have any of it stick to the ground, or did it melt on contact as it did the few times it snowed when I lived there?

    Joke thread?

I just posted one thread in this very section called "a quick joke...". Nobody replied.

How are your stores ammo shelves looking in your state?

You know... I have no idea how ammo supplies are around here. Thinking about buying a .22 of some sort though. Hopefully I'd never need to use it, being that most people I know are FAR more armed than I am, but hey... never know.

Chambers Build Thread - "The RAV"

Not a bad idea at all, especially considering that CB has a decent range IIRC... and yep, the LS is mammoth sized compared to the Supra, shame they didn't make a wagon. Might not look as classy, but I'd probably like it more overall. :)

That picture Emp... ALL LIES!!! Yet another project? Man, you're as bad as most of the people I know... mind sharing? Or is it something to be revealed later?

    Too much clutch

Ahh, so it wasn't just a lack of oil at start up issue then? I was going to suggest the bypass myself, but hvyman beat me to it. Also, If you're at the point where you're needing to ask about what the MOST something can hold is, you should probably be looking into something more...

to go vvti or non vvti

If I were doing it again, hands down, I would go the VVTI route I initially intended to go.

    Boost gauge having trouble 1jz

You SURE you're getting boost? If the gauge will still read the vacuum readings, but not boost, it sounds to me like you may have a massive piping leak... It'll sound like you're in boost, but it sure won't feel like it.

    obd port

Depending on what year you got your 2j from, it may or may not have an OBDII port, and even then, are those normally included with a harness? I thought that was something that usually stays with a car... Either way, most likely you could wire it in. Otherwise you're looking at an OBDI setup, and...

    Track Setup Question

Also, running a square tire size helps with turn in quite a bit. Might also look into a swaybar upgrade.

anyone here have a graphics background and can make

Check with Veedubin in the Misc Vendors section, I would be willing to bet he could do something like that for you... It does look nice in Ron's car. :)

Car shakes and vibrates at certain rpm

Driveshaft phasing seems to be a problem that can cause this... I know it's been recommended before.

What did you do to your supra today? Pics

Decent looking quote, but it scares me a bit that they couldn't find the mount for the speedometer cable on the transmission... Lower. In AZ (2000') I would hit fuel cut like crazy. Moved back up to WY (6500') and never once hit fuel cut. Here ya go...

Recomend a brake setup for meeee!

13" are the smallest fronts that ARZ uses, and 12.2" are the smallest rears. I've driven on upgraded pads (Porterfield R4S) on stock machined rotors, it was good for a slow car. I wouldn't dare try to use that setup on what I'm building, or even a car of the caliber I'm driving now. The ARZ...

Chambers Build Thread - "The RAV"

Funny, I use my Supra to haul crap around in. Then I realized that the LS400 has a LOT more room to do stuff like that. :p CB install looks really nice. Didn't know people still used it all that often. I suppose it could save your bacon someday though, so good to have if you know how to use it. :)
