Well a little update on ME.
I had an MRI done yesterday. It was the first time I'd ever done that and neary had a freak out after they slid me into that tube. I had to close my eyes and listen to that crappy Muzak in the headphones. After talking myself down I was able to relax and be calm...
Well I googled him and nothing. Then I tried Myspace and found his profile. It says his last login was today so that is encouraging. I don't have an account and his profile is private. Maybe he'll respond soon.
Well I tried his Yahoo messenger and it says he's online with status of "driving home". I sent a couple of messages with no return. Is there anybody else in the Philly area who can do some snooping. Full name Will Fischer. Guys/gals, I really concerned. I don't know if I should be worried...
Mike, to save you some more confusion, GE and GTE vacuum modulators are different. GE has 3 vac nipple while the GTE only has 2. (not including the bottom one that goes to the egr valve) So you can't use the one off of your GE.
You should be able to find all the vacuum line assembly easy. In...
The weak wire puts out almost 12V of power. That's plenty to trip the relay. What the problem is, is that while it put out 11. something volts, it's not putting out near enough AMPERAGE to trip the contacts in the starter. This fix gives me a direct link from battery to starter, giving it...
No just some unidentified crap that won't wash off. The red stuff is paint from my engine hoist.
Here's a short video (from my new LG Shine cell phone) of my accomplishment.

Mmmm yes boobies....It's been so long.
Oh I did this today also. Also you can see the pitiful condition of my bumper and header panel. Let me get it running good and then bodywork will begin.
A major major major::w00t::::w00t::::w00t:: (for now anyways)
If you've been following my thread, you know that I have a bad signal wire to my starter causing the infamous "click click". The only way I could start it was by jumping it off....until today...
My mechanic made a fix for it...
Frankly, seeing an MKIII with multiple owners and a true odometer reading would surprise me. The clusters are so damn easy to swap. I swapped mine out but there was only four thousand miles difference. No big whup.
Don't worry, it's no big deal. Many people are running an auto harness on a manual car.
Yes, the grey ones are knock sensors and the black cold start injector. I'm thinking the red one is for a VSV that goes under the intake. It's emissions and if you took all that off then you won't have...
Pictures 4 5 6 7 are plugs for an automatic transmission. The small brown rectangular plug is the starter signal wire. It plugs into the bottom of the starter.
Well I accomplished what I sat out to do today plus one. I got the inner fender well and mudflap back on. I started to mess with starter but just didn't feel like getting underneath the car this evening. I absolutely hate doing that. So I decided to install this new antenna I got for the car...
