I have a five year old 52" rear projection RCA. A few days ago I got home from work and tried to turn it on. The power light comes on and I hear something that sounds like the tv turning on, but it doesn't. The power light goes off a second or so later, then turns back on, I hear the same...

Search for the term "spark plugs". It yields quite a few threads with a bunch of opinions. I am currently using Denso Iridiums. I am happy with them so far. They seemed to smooth out my idle. As for the "best", your going to get different answers.
