The bumper cover is light. Its made of urethane. The aftermarket is fibreglass. Most aftermarket bumper cover require the use of stock bumper which is the heavy part. You can make your own bumper using lightweight material just be prepared not to hit anything or involved in accident.

You don't have a tester, make one. One light bulb and 2 wires that's all. If you don't know how to make tester , don't even plan on hooking that thing or any electrical device on your car.
