Agreed! Even if I would buy a CF hood (has to be stock shape), it would be painted the same as the rest of my car.Nick M said:
I like the look of the hood, but again I would be worried about water getting where it's not supposed to go.
I got one and here are some pics of it on my 88 I hade some fitment issues, the hood hinge tab has to be cut off and it needs spacers to clear the fan shroud but everything else is ok. I got mine for 250 not 400. i like it but then again I like unique stuff
Simpsons7s do you have bigger and colored picture? How do you get it for 250? Any water issues? More details of your experience?
sorry all the pics wheere accidently taken in black and white... will have to wait a few days to get better ones. You can get it for cheaper if you pick it up in L.A. instead of shipping charges. I don't really care about water because it isn't my dd but if you care about things getting wet....this isn't the hood for you, it will get electronics wet. I don't have it completely mounted yet because I am in the middle of a big build , Hopefully I wll be finished in a week and will post all info then
