I swapped out my hammer spring from an 18 pound to a 16....never had a failure to fire...I think the fact that Springfield armory uses 9 mm firing pins in their 45's so it is a bit more of a sharp point it doesn't take as much force to deform the primer.
Light strikes was my main fear after...
Rounds that I keep in the pipe get cycled into the bottom of the magazine after 4-5 times of reloading them be it for cleaning or just finger fucking my 1911
Are you constantly chambering those rounds and then unloading them for whatever reason?
It's been documented that continuing to chamber the same round over and over can actually knock the primer charge off the brass and cause a dud...As well as push the bullets back further into the brass...
You are making this more complicated than it really is.
Just get a good turbo...ball bearing....if response is your goal and don't get a turbo that will flow 700 hp if you're only going for 450....bigger is slower down low.
As far as manifold goes....cast stock mani keeps the turbo close to...
The larger the round the more you save.... .40 is worth it to load as there is savings to be made and the more you shoot the more you save....today you can't load 9mm cheaper than you can buy it but anything bigger does net gains.
Look into an rcbs rock chucker press...single stage and...
Fine and dandy if you're a 110 pound rider:-/. I'd shoot for something 400cc or bigger myself...90 percent of bike accidents are cause by people in vehicles not seeing you, not because your bike has too much ass. Get something with a bit of balls so you won't need to buy another bike in a year...
Yeah I find myself doing that rather often...I need bar risers to make it more comfortable to do that all the time...the bike is set up more for dirt that road in stock form so with some minor adjustments I'm sure I'll feel more control at highway speeds:-)
Needs stiffer front springs as it...
I really like offroading my klr said nobody ever! Lol
Jk...almost bought one but after more Research I figured the dr would be a better choice for me. Even on the highway I have to sit back as if I'm too far forward I get a little steering wobble:-(
