    Vixens build thread!!!

The thought to swap still crosses my mind every now and then but to be honest, I really like having an auto and as of now, I'm in swap burnout.

Stock HU replacement with a Toyota Stock Head Unit Radio

My bezel is not terribly hacked but it's been carved on a little. You can tell by looking to the left of the radio. I think it'll hold me for a while. This radio does look and sound better. It's very simple also and I like that.

    2jz swap slowly overheating

Hey Billy, congrats on picking up such a nice car. If you know someone with a pick up you can rent a uhaul "auto transporter" for about $60 bucks a day. You can be down there and back in 9 hours. It's been several years since I've seen his car so can't wait to catch it at a meet if DFW ever...

    21st birthday stories

First of all Happy Birthday Mine was boring. My girlfriend (now wife) and I went to Chili's or Bennigans, can't remember which. I did not even buy a beer. That was nearly 18 years ago. sigh

    Vixens build thread!!!

I've notice my auto doing the same thing, well not as bad as V's, but I've expected it. When I punch it, the tach moves but it takes a few seconds for the car to get going. I'm running the stock GE tranny right now. When my neck finally heals up I can start working my part time gig again and...

Stock HU replacement with a Toyota Stock Head Unit Radio

Ok, I got my new head unit the other day and put it in yesterday and it fits like a glove. Just wish my bezel wasn't hacked up by previous owner(s). Also, since I had no speakers in the back of the car, my neighbor sold me his rear Bose speakers from his Silverado SS. They're a 4x6 plate but...

    Cooling problems

This would be a good time to do a rebuild. If you don't you'll get visited by Rod Knock. You don't know how long that car was run on a BHG before you got it so the bearings are probably on their way out too. Listen to Jetjock and get a new radiator to go with your new engine. I did. He's...

just finshed my swap, now i have a couple problems.......

How much white smoke? Any shaft play in the turbo? Are you using the same IC piping and IC that was in your 89? Same exhaust? Give us details on your setup then and now. I wouldn't think the sensors would be an issue since he is using all 89 setup, ECU, wiring harness. Is this an...

What to do with my 86.5

What he said, except the lowering part, it's an unnecessary expense right now. Freshen up the interior, drive and enjoy. Save up $$$$ for a GTE swap if you are wanting to make power. I turbo'd my 86.5 and love it. It's a stock 7MGTE.

    67 camaro with a 2JZ?!?!

I actually thought the car was pretty cool. Would I do it? Probably not. Old Camaros need that V8 sound. Golf clap to the guys who did this.
