just finished 1st year mech engineering technology. when im done it will be the equivalent of an "engineer in training" in teh US apparantly. looking to do something with renewable resources when im done, or just anything that i can make some good money at... currently delivering pizza part time...

i got my 3" elbow and DP from Hector at Exhaust Depot. Great guy, great service, definetly not a scammer. id be running that exhaust if i wasnt going for a more sleeper look.

first off, the dupont stuff is about CDN$6 per can, so around US$4. i did my timing cover, valve covers, pretty much anything can be painted. fuse box, cps cover, afm if you really want.

buy colormatched paint, or something close. local autoparts stores sell dupont colormatch paint. my 88 is paint code 3H1, but the closest dupont sells is 3H8 IIRC, and it matches pretty close. the metallic burgandy stands out alot more than red imho. my engine pay is gunmetal, silver, and burgandy.

make sure you install a driveshaft loop....

find someone who is a dealer for Vibrant Performance. a local shop sells them, and the price i was quoted was CDN$35 for a 90* 2.75 aluminum bend, which is with $5 of mild steel bends of similar size.

have you tried a basic metal supply store? theres a local one here that sells almost any kind of metal you can think of in any length you need.

jeremiah and william helped me get my order straightened out for my IC. i ordered it over a month and a half ago, then there was the "family troubles" and it turns out my IC never even got ordered. i dunno if it was mikes part or what, but now after speaking over the phone with them a few times...

oh well, just get it worked out, and which ever way you decide to get them, ill send you the money for a few :)

nashman had a very small shim made on a lathe, i think it was 1/16" or 1/32" to get the adjustment screws to clear.
