ok how about the gapping on those? I'm used to the NGK plugs on my RX7 that don't have gapping, so what do I need to gap them correctly

ur probably smelling your tranny fluid leaking and then burning off, maybe dripping on the exhaust or somethin...

thanks for the replies everybody. I'll have to check that ground wire out, my only doubts about that are, if the ground were bad wouldn't the misfire continue whether or not I'm accelerating hard, because it only misfires at cruise or very light acceleration, no misfire at idle and no misfire...

My car has an irritating misfire when I'm cruising at a constant speed and also under very light acceleration, but when I am pushing hard on the accelerator it won't misfire at all, and it has no noticable misfire at idle either. The car is stock with the exception of full turbo back exhaust...

maybe u should check your speedo cable, that seems like it could possibly make that kinda sound, especially if u hear it from behind the gauges...

I definitely am getting compressor surge, but it only happens at low RPMs and low boost, if I rev it out at max boost the BOV screams the way it should, but at low RPMs and low boost I get nothing but compressor surge...

but wouldn't removing spring tension allow a lesser force to open the valve??

my car came with a TurboXS BOV and it flutters like that also (factory turbo) I even took out out the spring tensioners and it still does it, wtf, could having a vacuum leak do this?

alright guys I tightened the shit out of the harmonic balancer, and voila, no noise as of yet....thank you good people of the forums!

i see links for SoGI all over the place but the damned website doesn't work, I really just wanted to see what the SOGI short shift mod was all about...anybody know if there is a new site or something?

my buddies ol' rx-7 had bad bushings on the diff and u could hear a thump between gears, u have that problem?

maybe your differential mount needs new bushings?
