So something should be taken that seems to have way too much play, put on a car and ran? and if something happens it'll be warrantied?

Wow, I was going to drop this, but if you want to keep it going.... I know VERY little about turbos and it took me all of about 5 min of research to figure out this wasnt a HKS turbo. The wheel & the exhaust flange/housing are completely different, I would think a "turbo expert" could tell these...

ding ding, you win! I found photos and specs of the turbo this was claimed to be and there nothing alike. You were right about the vband and the compressor wheel.

I'll try to get some better pics of the data plate It was sold by one of the "offical SM turbocharger experts" as a rare hks turbo, hopefully he'll chime in.......

So I bought this parts car with a "rare hks 51mm turbo" on it. I have no reason not to believe the seller, but there are no markings on it. When selling it, I know someone will ask me how I know that its real. So I'd like to determine 110% if its real and have an answer for any potential buyers.
