I went to start my car and couldnt get it to start. I open the hood and noticed the clips that connect the coil paks to the harness are broken. They stay together but the wires fall out of them. Its causing my car to turn off while Im driving.
Does anybody know how to fix the plugs, or am I...
yes, opsu is an oil pressure sending unit. I just got lazy and didnt type it out. Well my oil pressure has been acting weird so, Im going to start fixing the small before I have to tear down the engine. Im hoping that its just the oil pressure unit.
So go with the prosport gauge and pressure...
Believe it or not it goes in the computer and stays there for a year. If you happen to get pulled over again before that year is up, they can write you 2 tickets...OR write you a ticket for speeding and add some kind of penalty charge on it.
I need to change my oil pressure sending unit and cant decide on which one. I was thinking of just buying one from toyota for my 7m, so its like the old one, but, I found one at Prosport gauges and it has an oil gauge and an electric opsu.
So I just wanted a pros point of view. Anybodys...
Ill be ordering one very soon.
I dont think its the gauge. When I drive the car after letting it warm up for about 5 min it gets to 30+psi no problem. But when the car is completely warm it only gets to about 23psi.
My stepfather owned an 89 7mgte (swapped 2jz n it) but he says that as...
Well damn, I dont know what the problem with the pressure is then. Its a new oil pump, on a rebuilt engine. I dont know what the problem is.
I dont think its clogged anywhere because that would cause pressure to build right?
Its my dd so I have to keep driving it. But Im worried if I dont...
Today I was cleaning my car and I usually spray underneath it to get the crud off the bottom to. Well I went to go spray the bottow of the car and noticed that the oil pan had a tiny leak. My oil pressure has been sitting at about 23psi (on stock gauge) when I cruise at 3000rpms. I know thats...
K&N sells the adapter and filter for like 160 I believe. Its pretty nice. I dont believe aem sells a kit for a mk3 either. I may be wrong so dont quote....lol. But I never could find one, thats why I went with K&N.
Same thing happened to me about 2 weeks ago. I got pulled over for doing 59 in a 40!!!
My tire are almost the same size too. hah
Ive got front: 225/35/19
Rear: 235/45/19
something like that anyways.
But yea I couldnt believe the cop clocked me going that much over...
^^Thats thinking outside the box
They are on pretty snug now. I bought the bolts from driftmotion and when I was replacing them, some of the screws that were on the covers were basically sitting in there. So now everything is good.
