I believe John is asian. I have not seen the car. (Bumped into him at an Autozone... he "noticed" my car, we got to chatting... I offered a spin.:biglaugh: )
My car was pretty ROUGH and JUST GOT IT RUNNING the week before or so, so it was really not right yet... but it was a fun "squirt"...
HOLY CRAP! Great thread!
You Canadian dudes really blow me away...
(Thanks for the great pictoral progress... nice to look at, and very inspiring!)

I believe it's a 300GT... but I'm not sure if it's on the road.
(There's another guy, "John"? with an MR2 who took a spin w/me before I did the bigger injectors, Drager, and some more alphabet from HKS... white car, I think?)

Well... after a long hiatus from motorvation... the car is once again running...
HOWEVER, there seems to be a distant memory of STARTING ISSUES from over half-a-decade ago when she was last on the road! I couldn't remember if I ever DID replace the starter, or whatnot... so I threw...
He just went on break too... said he might get me in anyway since I was out of town alot these past couple weeks while he was on the dyno.
He's on evenings... 6-11?
I'm not "IN" Lima... but it's a short hop from here.:icon_wink

^^^ I played with lizards all the time when I was a little kid living in EXTREME southern Japan... they were runnin' all OVER the place!
Grab 'em wrong, and you'd be left with their "grow-back" tail... still WIGGLIN' in your hand!

Yes, it is an extraordinary little creature. VERY BOLD markings on these little buggers. I found one last year by the garage, and looked it up since I was not familiar with it. That one was a little larger, but THIS guy was more "active".
My property is a virtual cornucopia of...
"HOLY CRAP"! (...or OTHER "four letter" words...:biglaugh: )
...and... "WHERE IS THE RADIO"?
-OR-
"Your car reminds me of KNIGHT-RIDER"!
also... "WHAT IF A TIRE BLOWS OUT AT OVER 140mph"?!:aigo:
...many others...:naughty:

Ok... so, not much about the SUPRA here... but when I walked out last night around 11pm to put the hood down, THIS guy was "snaking" his way around the car!
(I took him in the house for the better lighting!:biglaugh: )
I believe this guy is an Eastern Milk Snake... a "true...
JB WELD FTMFW!!!
(I used that on the "semi-stripped" rear threads in the head on the exhaust manifold rearmost fitment. So far it's not bleeding off any of my 15psi, and seems to be taking higher thresholds if selected.:icon_bigg )
JBW is FTW! (I feel semi-juvenile... but it feels...
...Hmmmmmmmm... you are SO RIGHT!:icon_surp
Yet, as I rack my brain for why I HAVEN'T done something so "intuitively obvious to the casual observer" as taking pics of BOTH cars together...
...I come to the slow realization that I've never had BOTH of them CLEAN enough for a SHOOT at...
I enjoyed it!:biglaugh: Just ANOTHER CAR NUT in the DARK with "out-of-focus-images" for the simple purpose of capturing a few moments of his infatuation with his automobiles caccophonic symphony of an exhaust note...
Ahhhhhhhhh...... this is the stuff that we are all here for!
