I'm not sure if I will be drag racing (depends on the cars reliability/tune), so can I register and pay for it, but if I decide not to race can I give the drag credit to another car/owner?
If you want to make a new harness, it is pretty straight forward. Pheonix Tuning sells the connectors and terminals, you just need to measure the wire lengths and crimp the terminals on. You can also re-use your old connectors if you depin them.
Ah ok. Too bad they can't be used, it would be a great option to full coilovers.
What type of mill are you getting? I'm picking up a benchtop mill to convert to CNC for hobby stuff, not production.
Took a few pictures while rewiring mine. Look like the 3 wires are combined into ground (black on the harness side). You can see in the pic that the top two wires on the CPS are red and green.
depin the stock connectors, and buy new terminals. easternbeaver.com has sumitomo sealed connectors and pins http://easternbeaver.com/Main/Elec__Products/Connectors/Sealed/SM-MT/sm-mt.html
The wires on my CPS were cracked, i just trimmed off a few mm, stripped the wires, and crimped new...
don't get me wrong, shine makes nice stuff (ive got their overfenders and rear addons like yours), I just want SOMEONE to make these air guides :) This would look slick with my CFX lip.
they are not NPT as most people assume. the are either straight metric thread, or british pipe thread, depends on which one you want to plug.If you put an NPT plug into a BPT hole, the threads will get wrecked.
hop is usually due to bent arms, but if you have replaced those and your bushings, it means there is slop somewhere else, or your alignment is off? What about subframe mount bushings? Are all of your bushings greased properly? Maybe double check them to make sure none of them have failed.
