I bought TWO of this unit... and only paid $150ish for them... (I have pretty good source... but you should find for that range...)

I see your fluff is a little swollen, pink, and dried out. A gentle stroking motion across the little ball near the opening will help alleviate that condition, and release the appropriate performance from deeper within it's motor... don't be surprised if you find it drips a little during this...
